Kgothatso Ditabo

Kgothatso Emeldah Ditabo is a registered counsellor based in Pretoria, Gauteng, offering mental health services grounded in compassion, professionalism, and evidence-based practice. With a strong academic foundation in psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology, she holds both a Bachelor of Applied Social Science and an Honours degree in Psychology. She is registered with the HPCSA and has her own private practice, KE Ditabo Counselling, while also working with the Gauteng Department of Health.

Her expertise spans short-term supportive counselling, psychological assessments, trauma counselling, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and mental health promotion. She has experience working in both clinical and community settings, including Residentia Retirement Village, Tshwane University of Technology, and LIFT Community Development.

Fluent in Setswana, English, Sepedi, Sesotho, and Xitsonga, Ms Ditabo provides culturally sensitive care and is passionate about improving psychological wellbeing in underserved communities. She has also led mental health campaigns, delivered workshops, and participated in community development projects. In addition to her therapeutic work, she is skilled in practice management, medical billing, and policy development.
